Steve Rogers attends POLCYB Conference

DEI's president Steve Rogers participated in the Society for the Policing of Cyberspace's (POLCYB) International Conference in Vancouver on September 29 and 30. Mr. Rogers was the panel chair for the keynote address, given by the University of Arizona's Hsinchun Chen on the subject of online terrorism research and data mining. The theme of the conference, "International Research and Collaboration in Global Security," allowed attendees from government, law enforcement, and business to come together to share ideas and innovations from their respective fields. Mr. Rogers spoke about DEI's cutting-edge Integrated Case ManagementTM software in his address on Collaboration and Information Sharing. Other conference presentations concerned online privacy, critical infrastructure protection, and international trends in cybercrime. Mr. Rogers serves as an advisor to the POLCYB Board of Directors.
